Features

Whirlpool Genuine OEM Parts and Accessories are designed specifically for your appliance, meet tested engineering standards, and are crafted to ensure the quality of your appliance.

Description

This Range Element Receptacle and Wire Kit connects the surface elements of your range to the wiring harness. This kit includes (2) brackets (you'll only use one that matches your receptacle), (2) wires, (2) wire nuts, (2) pieces of heat-shrink wrap, and the receptacle. If your stove element is not heating, the connections may have shorted out. To access the part, remove the element that isn't working properly from your range, and the drip pan. Lift the top of the range and unscrew the old receptacle block. Easy to install with basic hand tools like a multi-screwdriver, wire strippers, heat gun, some disassembly of the range, and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended Item: Wire Splicing Tool, 8-1/4". This stripper specializes in stripping and cutting wire. This tool is designed with a lean nose for pulling and looping wire and equipped with precision ground cutters.
