The Dryer Drum Roller Kit supports the rear of the appliance's drum to help maintain quiet and balanced spinning during the drying cycle. If your dryer's drum is moving up and down during operation, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. When replacing this part, consider using Whirlpool's high-quality and easy-to-install replacement kit, which includes (2) drum rollers, (4) tri-rings, (1) retaining washer, and installation instructions. Please note that the drum bearings are self-lubricating, so it is not necessary to lubricate them yourself. Helpful Tip: While the dryer is disassembled, also consider replacing the right (item WPW10359269) and left (item WPW10359270) drum roller axles. Installing these replacement parts will require basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver, and some disassembly of the dryer, along with novice repair experience. Before installing these parts, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
