Description

The Gas Dryer Valve Coil opens the gas valves while the dryer is running. If gas isn't flowing and your dryer has no heat, or it's cycling on and off repeatedly, replacing the coil may alleviate these issues. This high-quality and easy-to-install set includes a boost hold coil (3 prongs) and a secondary coil (2 prongs). You can use a multimeter or VOM to test your coils to ensure they are functioning properly. To access the part, remove the small access panel at the bottom front of the dryer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver, some disassembly of the dryer, and novice repair experience. Before installing this replacement part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
