Description

This Top Load Washer Water Inlet Valve opens to allow water to enter the washing machine. The attaching solenoids on the valve open and close according to the desired temperature or amount of water needed. If your washer won't stop filling with water, won't produce cold or hot water, won't fill at all, or is leaking, replacing the inlet valve may alleviate these issues. This inlet valve has 4 terminals and is located at the back of the machine. To access the part, you'll need to separate the washer cabinet from the washer and disconnect the red and white wiring connectors from the old part. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver and needle-nose pliers, some disassembly of the washer, and novice repair experience. Before installing this high-quality and easy-to-install replacement part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety. Also, make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
