Dishwasher Check Valve Assembly

This Dishwasher Check Valve Assembly prevents water from returning to the dishwasher after it has drained during the cleaning cycle. If the valve in your appliance breaks and remains closed, the water will not drain properly and you may notice water pooling in the bottom of the appliance or an unpleasant smell emanating from the dishwasher, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin.
