Description

This Front Load Washer Door Boot Seal is a part that safely contains the water in between the tub and the front panel of your dual front-load washer. If your current seal is damaged and leaking water, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that overloading the washer is the most common cause for a damaged or torn door boot seal. Clamps are not included and need to be purchased separately. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
