This Front Load Washer Door Boot Seal is a part that contains the water in between the tub and the front panel of your front-load washer. Note that overloading the washer is the most common cause for a damaged or torn door boot. This bellow is designed to be used with select Whirlpool® and Maytag® front-load washing machines; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
