Description

The Bottom-Mount Refrigerator Door Gasket is a new rubber door seal that keeps the warm or humid outside air from entering your appliance. This part is designed to be used with select stainless steel refrigerator brands, including Whirlpool®, KitchenAid® and Maytag®; check to see if your model is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: The new gasket may arrive with some dents and creases; placing the part in the sun or soaking it in warm water will help to soften the rubber.
