The SxS Refrigerator Dispenser Motor powers the auger inside the ice bucket assembly, allowing ice to flow freely from the dispenser in the front of the appliance. If your appliance is no longer dispensing ice properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that if you need an auger motor with mounting tabs on the top, this part is available under item 2188860. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi screwdriver, partial dismantling of the appliance and novice repair experience.
