Description

This Front Load Washer Drive Motor is 1/3 horsepower and drives the drum and spins the basket when the washer is in tumbling mode or spin mode. To access the part, remove the hose from the back of the washer with pliers and then remove the back panel from the machine. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets* (item W10135699) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
