Whirlpool W11524031 Genuine OEM Gas Range Surface Igniter

This Gas Range Surface Igniter provides spark to the burner to ignite the gas and initiate the cooking process. This igniter features a spark electrode with a male spade connection and is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Maytag® and Amana® gas ranges; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also turn off the gas supply that's connected to your range. Helpful Tips: During installation, be mindful not to lose the two burner wires inside the appliance when you detach them from the old burner head. To install the new part, simply insert it into the burner head and secure it with two screws.
