Description

This SxS Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Solenoid shifts the ice container deflector to dispense crushed ice or cubed ice. To access the part, open the freezer door and remove the ice bucket by lifting and pulling it out. Remove the four screws from the panel below the ice bucket and release the wire harness to take out the assembly from the freezer. Disconnect the wires from the solenoid and remove the two screws holding the old solenoid into the housing. This easy-to-install kit includes the solenoid, the arm assembly, and two mounting screws. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver, some refrigerator disassembly, and novice repair experience.
