The Washer Fill Hose connects the washer to the house water supply and carries water into the washing machine. If one or both of your hoses are leaking, you may need to replace this part. When replacing this part, consider using Whirlpool's high-quality and easy-to-install replacement hose. This hose is a 5-ft rubber fill hose that can be used for hot or cold water and is sold individually. To begin the replacement, loosen the hoses at the back of the machine using pliers and remove them (place a towel underneath to catch any water). Once the hoses are removed, clean the screens on the water inlet valve. Next, disconnect the hoses from the water supply. Installing this part requires basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver and pliers. Some disassembly of the washing machine is necessary, and it's ideal for someone with novice repair experience.
