Description

This Refrigerator Drain Pipe replaces older models with the nozzle and trough system and is a new design intended to fix clogged condensation drains. The drain pipe connects the freezer condensation pan with the drip pan inside the machine compartment. This assembly is designed to keep your refrigerator's defrost cycle working correctly and helps avoid ice buildup at the bottom of your freezer. Before replacing this part, if there is any ice at the bottom of your freezer, you will need to remove the drawers and use a heat gun to melt the ice behind the rear evaporator cover. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a 1/4" screwdriver and a heat gun, some disassembly of the refrigerator, and novice repair experience. Before installing this high-quality replacement part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
