The Top Freezer Refrigerator Hinge Washer is a small part that works as a bearing along the door and as a spacer, lifting the door if necessary so that the door opens smoothly. This white plastic part is sold separately and measures approx. 3/4" D. Note that two or more washers may be needed per appliance door. You'll need to remove the appliance door(s) to complete this repair. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience.
