Description

This Refrigerator Center Door Hinge ensures smooth opening and closing of your freezer door. If the hinge has been damaged or worn out, making it difficult to open and close the door, this part may need to be replaced. To replace the old hinge, you'll first need to remove the freezer door. After removing the freezer door, tape the refrigerator door shut, and then loosen the screws from the center hinge, leaving the third screw slightly loose. Slide the refrigerator door slightly to the left to remove the hinge. Check the washers on the hinge (sold separately), as they may also need replacement. This high-quality, durable replacement part is easy to install with basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver, 5/16" wrench, and putty knife. It requires some disassembly of the refrigerator and basic repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
