Description

The Refrigerator Suction Tube is a 8.5mm to 6mm brass reducer that carries low-pressure refrigerant vapor from the evaporator coil to the compressor. This part is designed to be used Whirlpool®, Maytag®, Amana®, KitchenAid® and JennAir® refrigerators; check to see if your model number is compatible. You will need advanced mechanical training to make this repair. Specialized tools, complex testing and appliance calibration are required including but not limited to recovering and recharging the coolant in the sealed refrigeration system. We strongly recommend that you hire a qualified technician to safely install this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
