Description

This Front Load Dryer Thermal Cut Off Fuse is a safety device designed to protect the dryer from overheating. If your dryer won't start, won't produce heat, shuts off too soon or won't tumble, replacing the cut off fuse may alleviate these issues. The thermal cut off is located behind the dryer's lower access panel and attaches to the exhaust duct. Several wire terminals are included for installation depending on the part number you are replacing. A multimeter can be used to test the fuse. Always check the dryer venting when replacing a blown thermal fuse. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
