SXS Refrigerator Water Filter Mounting Plate

The SXS Refrigerator Water Filter Mounting Plate holds the water filter and connects the water lines to the water filter. If it's damaged and the water filter is loose, this plate may alleviate the issue. To access the part, open the right refrigerator door and remove the cover from the plate at the top right of the fridge by pressing the front lever holding it in. Then remove the cover from the refrigerator. Installing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin.
