Description

This Dryer Blower Wheel is used to keep the dryer quiet while running. If you notice your dryer is taking too long to dry clothing, is not tumbling, or is making any unusually loud noises, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. The blower wheel is housed on the bottom inside of the appliance and is attached to the drive motor shaft, which disperses air through the drum and out of the exhaust vent. This high-quality and easy-to-install replacement part measures approximately 8" in diameter x 3-3/8" wide and includes the center clamp. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver, some disassembly of the dryer, and novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety. Recommended items: Snap Retaining Ring (item 905381) and Snap Retaining Pliers (item 3527612).
