Description

This easy-to-install Electric Range Broil Element heats your oven properly. If the broil element has shorted out, it may need to be replaced. To access this part, you'll need to remove the oven racks. The element is attached to the top of the oven with a bracket and screws. When removing the old element, make sure the wires attached to the ends don't fall back into the oven wall. It may be helpful to wrap a twist tie or string around the wires as you pull off the part. If your wires do fall back into the oven wall, you'll have to remove the oven's rear panels to retrieve them. Replacing the element will require basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver, as well as some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. Before installing this high-quality replacement part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
