Description

The Electric Range Radiant Element is a 6" diameter element that supplies heat to the cooking area on top of the range. Please note that elements are sold separately. This high-quality surface element can be used on either the left or right side of the cooktop and features a limiter. To determine if the existing element is defective and requires replacement, you can use a multimeter (item 964740) to test for continuity. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, such as a multi screwdriver, and a sturdy 12" wooden stick to support the cooktop during the repair. It also requires some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
