Description

This high-quality and easy-to-install Front Load Washer Door Lock Assembly is designed to lock the washer door and signal the control board that the door is closed. If your washer's door no longer latches, the wash cycle will not initiate. Replacing this part may resolve the issue. When removing the old door lock, take note of how the plugs are inserted into the switch. Press the tabs and disconnect the three harness plugs from the old lock. Then, you can connect the large plug to the new door lock. To connect the remaining two plugs, you'll need to remove the top of the washer to access them. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver and locking pliers, some disassembly of the washer, and novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or switch off the house circuit breaker for safety.
