Features

Whirlpool Genuine OEM Parts and Accessories are designed specifically for your appliance, meet tested engineering standards, and are crafted to ensure the quality of your appliance.

Description

This Built-In Range Control Panel Cooling Fan circulates air through the control panel area to keep the controls, wiring and components cool during use. If your cooling fan is noisy or not working, it may cause your oven to overheat and turn off. Replacing it may alleviate these issues. The cooling fan is located behind the rear access panel of your range, so you'll need to remove the oven from its wall housing in order to replace it. Once the panel is removed, you'll see the see the cylindrical-shaped fan at the top of the appliance. Remove the electrical connections to the fan and then remove the screws attaching the old cooling fan to the oven. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi screwdriver, partial dismantling of the appliance, and novice repair experience. To ensure safety, always remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker prior to installing this high-quality and easy-to-install replacement part.
