Description

The SxS Refrigerator Ice Level Control Board uses an infrared beam to sense the level of ice in the ice bucket and signals the ice maker to make more ice when needed. This assembly includes the emitter and receiver board. This part is designed to be used with select refrigerator brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
