This Refrigerator Ice Maker Drain Pump removes water from the reservoir when the reservoir is flushed to remove impurities. This part is designed to be used with several major brand refrigerators, including Whirlpool®, Maytag®, JennAir® and KitchenAid®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
