Description

This Top Load Washer Motor Stator works with the motor rotor to spin the basket during the washing cycle. The windings in the stator can wear out and fail over time causing the motor to no longer power the appliance. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. You may need assistance tilting the washer back to access the bottom of the appliance.
