SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve

This SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser in your refrigerator. This part is the secondary single water inlet valve and includes the valve, 1/4" tubing, and a plastic union. Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off. Replacing the valve will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also, make sure to turn the water source to the refrigerator completely off before installing this part. Helpful Tip: The new part's wire connections are on the back of the unit and the valve includes a "push to lock" fitting that doesn't require a nut to attach the tubing. You'll have to remove the old style compression fittings around the water line and trim, then push the water line directly into the valve where it will lock into place.
