Description

This SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker. The package includes a new high-quality water valve, instructions, ¼-inch tubing, and a plastic ¼-inch coupler. If your appliance isn't dispensing ice or water properly, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. The replacement process will require basic hand tools such as a 1/2" wrench and nut driver, some disassembly of the refrigerator, and novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety. Also, make sure to turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin the installation. Helpful Tip: Some refrigerator models also require a separate connection fitting (Tubing Coupler, item 2119001).
