Description

This easy-to-install Top Load Washer Water Inlet Valve Assembly allows hot and cold water to enter your washing machine and distribute it to the dispensers. If the valve is leaking or the solenoids are damaged, you will need to replace this part. Please note that the valve should never be disassembled and cleaned; it should only be replaced. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver, 10" V-Jaw Tongue & Groove Pliers, tape, a putty knife, standard pliers, and a nylon lanyard. It also involves some disassembly of the washer and requires novice repair experience. Before installing this high-quality replacement part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety. Also, make sure to turn off the water supply and place a towel down when removing the hot and cold fill hoses from the valve.

Recommended Item: 10" V-Jaw Tongue & Groove Pliers (item 3527544). V-Jaw increases the number of contact points on the jaw, creating a stronger grip.
