Top Load Washing Machine Timer

The Top Load Washing Machine Timer controls the appliance’s wash cycle operations, including filling, soaking, washing, spinning and rinsing. If any of the contacts in your appliance’s timer are not working, or if the motor inside the unit shorted out and the timer is no longer functioning, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This quick-connect part does not include the timer knob, but you can purchase it separately, based on your model number. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
