Description

This Washer Water-Level Pressure Switch senses and controls the water level in the washer. As the water runs through the hose while the washer tub is filling, it will push air against a diaphragm inside the switch. As more water enters the tub, more pressure is applied against the switch. You'll have to remove the control panel of your washer to gain access to this part. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a multi screwdriver, partial dismantling of the appliance and novice repair experience. To ensure safety, remember to unplug the appliance or turn off the house circuit breaker for the appliance, and shut off the hot and cold water supplies prior to installing this high-quality and easy-to-install replacement part. For proper care and maintenance, we recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help mitigate odor-causing residues that can build up in your washing machine's drain due to frequent use. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
