The Top Load Washer Motor Stator works in conjunction with the appliance's rotor to rotate the spin basket during use. This part is designed to be used with select washing machine brands, including Whirlpool®, Maytag®, Admiral® and Amana®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
