The Top Load Washer Rotor Assembly connects to the spin basket shaft inside the appliance and rotates the tub during the cleaning cycle. This part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Kenmore®, and Maytag washing machines; check to see if your model is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer, and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also, make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
