Washer Standpipe Adapter

The Washer Standpipe Adapter is a black rubber part that connects the external drain hose to the house drain pipe. The Washer Standpipe Adapter holds the drain hose in place to prevent the washer from overflowing. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
