Top Load Washer Agitator Kit

The Top Load Washer Agitator Kit spins and agitates your clothes properly so they can be washed. The agitator is located in the center of the wash drum and is secured by (1) bolt at its base. To secure the bolt into the new agitator before installing, turn the agitator upside down and put the new bolt in position. This kit includes: (1) agitator cam, (1) thrust washer, (1) spacer, (1) dust cap seal, (1) agitator bolt seal, and (4) agitator dogs. White grease is not included. You'll pre-assemble the cam by inserting the dogs and then place the spacer onto the cam to hold the dogs into place. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.Recommended Items: Consider replacing the Fabric Softener Dispenser (item WP63594) at the same time you complete this repair.
