Description

The Washer Water Inlet Valve is located at the rear of the appliance and allows hot and cold water to fill in the washer during the cleaning cycle. This part is designed to be used with select washer brands, including Whirlpool®, Amana® and Maytag®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the hot and cold water supplies to your washer. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets* (item W10135699) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *Affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
