This easy-to-install French Door Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator's water dispenser and ice maker. If one of the solenoids in the original unit is faulty, it will prevent water from flowing into the ice maker and dispenser. If your appliance's icemaker stops making ice, if no water flows from the dispenser, or if you notice water at the bottom of the fresh food compartment, the water inlet valve may be malfunctioning and in need of replacement.
