Description

This easy-to-install French Door Refrigerator Temperature Sensor gauges the temperature inside the freezer or fresh food compartment and relays the information to the electronic control board, triggering the compressor. If your appliance is too cold or not cold enough, the temperature sensor may be shorted out and need replacement. Please note that your appliance has two temperature sensors (also called thermistors) – one in the fresh food compartment and one in the freezer. Installing this high-quality replacement part will require basic tools such as a multi-screwdriver and wire splicers, as well as some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Before installing this durable replacement part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
