Refrigerator Ice Bin Assembly

The Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly receives water from the water inlet, holds the water in the ice mold until it freezes and then automatically ejects the ice and refills again until the ice storage bin is filled. If the current ice maker in your bottom-freezer appliance is not functioning properly, you can replace the entire assembly with this kit. The assembly includes (2) module covers, (2) wire harnesses, (1) ice maker, (1) shut-off arm and installation instructions. Installing this part will require specialized tools, complicated disassembly of the refrigerator and prior repair experience. We recommend that you hire a qualified technician to install this assembly. If installing yourself, remember to unplug the refrigerator, or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before beginning. We also recommend shutting off the water before installing this part. Recommended Item: You may also need to purchase a new Ice Level Arm (item 2118181 or 231180) to replace this assembly.
