The Refrigerator Air Damper Control Assembly regulates the cold airflow from the freezer compartment into the refrigerator compartment. This replacement part is designed to be used with select refrigerator brands, including Whirlpool®, Maytag®, Kenmore® and KitchenAid®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience.
