The Refrigerator Receiver Control Board allows the ice maker to operate properly inside the appliance. This part is designed to be used with select refrigerator brands, including Whirlpool®, Kenmore®, and Maytag®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator, and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also, turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
