Description

The Electric Dryer Tri-Ring Retainer holds the drum support rollers and idler pulleys onto their shafts inside the appliance. If your dryer starts to squeal or rumble during use, the current retainers may have become tangled up or overheated, and the rollers and pulleys may not be properly connected. Replacing one or more of the retainers could alleviate these issues. This easy-to-install replacement part will require basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver, considerable disassembly of the dryer, and intermediate repair experience. Before installing this high-quality part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.

Helpful tip: Please note that the tri-ring retainers are sold separately.
