Description

The Dryer Drum Support Roller Shaft holds the drum roller in place on the bulkhead, providing a smooth surface for the roller to spin on. This high-quality part is designed for the right-side drum support and is easy to install. The replacement shaft measures 3-3/16" in length and does not require a washer or nut during installation. Basic hand tools, such as a Phillips-Head screwdriver and snap-ring pliers, are needed for installation, along with some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety. Also, consider replacing the drum roller (item 349241T) while the dryer is disassembled. Worn-out drum rollers can cause improper turning and excessive noise in the dryer. Note that the drum bearings are self-lubricating, so there's no need to lubricate them manually.
