The Dryer High Limit Thermostat includes a terminal extension arm and opens at approximately 260 degrees F (L260-50F). The only difference between the high-limit thermostat and the operating thermostat is their opening and closing temperatures. This accessory is designed for use with select dryers; check to see if your model number is compatible. Easy to install with basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer, and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the washing machine before installing this part. Helpful Tip: This replacement part may look different than the original thermostat in your appliance, but will still install and operate the same.
