Description

This Dryer Moisture Sensor Bar monitors the moisture levels of the clothing during the drying cycle and communicates a signal to the control board indicating when the clothes are dry and the cycle can finish. If your appliance shuts off too early or continues running after the clothes are already dry, one or more of the dryer’s moisture sensors may be defective and need replacement. Note that your appliance requires two sensor bars to operate properly; the parts are sold separately. Easy to install with basic hand tools like a multi-screwdriver, some disassembly of the dryer, and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. The sensors are located in the plastic lint screen housing.
