Dishwasher Pump Filter Plate

This Dishwasher Pump Filter Plate or accumulator assembly is above the sump. It removes food particles from the water and filters them out so your dishwasher does not get clogged. Pull the lower rack out of the dishwasher and remove the spray arm and then the impeller to access this part. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin.
