This Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve Assembly is located behind the access panel at the bottom of your dishwasher and allows water to flow into the appliance during use. If your dishwasher isn't receiving any water, replacing this part may resolve the issue. If your dishwasher has a solid copper fill line, disconnect the water line before removing the old valve. If you have a flexible fill line, you can remove the old valve before disconnecting the water line. Ensure to clean out the threads and add new pipe dope to the brass fitting connected to the old valve before transferring it to the new valve. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as pliers, a 5/8" and 3/4" wrench, and a 1/4" nut driver. It also involves some appliance disassembly and requires novice repair experience.
