The Dishwasher Door Latch Strike attaches at the top of the dishwasher tub and locks the door latch in place when the door is closed. We recommend replacing item 961514 Door Latch Assembly along with the Door Strike. This high-quality, durable replacement part is easy to install with basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver. It only requires some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
