Dishwasher Thermal Fuse Kit

The Dishwasher Thermal Fuse Kit includes (1) fuse assembly, (1) wiring harness adapter, (1) zip tie and instructions. The thermal fuse is a safety device located in the console of the dishwasher and shuts off the heating element if the appliance overheats. If the thermal fuse fails, the dishwasher won't start. Note that for safety reasons, when installing this part you must also replace the included wire harness. Replacing this the thermal fuse assembly will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the dishwasher's water supply under the sink.
